Registration for acts wishing to enter is now open, until August 15. For more information, act registration, or ticket purchase, go to Special Events registration on the Senior Services site. Saturday, Sept. 14, 10am - 3pm.
2025 CO-Age Agenda Review, September 18, 2024
Learn more about the 2025 CO-AGE (Coalition of Advocates for Georgia's Elderly) advocacy agenda for the upcoming legislative session of the Georgia General Assembly. Legislation priorities include elder abuse prevention, assisted living options, independent living support and funding support for non-Medicaid Home & Community Services. Speakers will share tips on successful public policy advocacy. Presented by Forsyth County resident and Georgia Council on Aging member, Vicki Johnson and Debra Stokes, Executive Director, Georgia Council on Aging. Attendees will receive the first chance to sign-up for the 2025 Senior Day at the Capitol in Atlanta. Meeting is at Sexton Hall on Wednesday, Sept. 18, 11am - noon.
